Debbie Ollis is a native Mobilian who is an alumna of both Corpus Christi Catholic School and McGill-Toolen Catholic High School. She graduated from Spring Hill College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. She also holds both a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from the University of South Alabama. Debbie began teaching in the spring of 1981 right here at Little Flower Catholic School. In addition to LIttle Flower, she has also taught at Corpus Christi Catholic School and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School. She also served as an associate director of the Office of Religious Education for two years before moving to St. Mary Catholic School where she served for over twenty years as principal.
Debbie is a 2006 graduate of Leadership Mobile. In 2014 she received the NCEA Distinguished Principal Award from the National Catholic Educational Association. That same year she was recognized as a National Distinguished Principal by the National Association of Elementary School Principals.
Debbie has been married to her husband, Kevin, for over forty years. She is very proud of her four children and six grandchildren. Besides getting together with her family almost every weekend, Debbie also enjoys gardening, flower arranging and Alabama Football.
